This is a vintage, primitive style, hand cut, hand forged weathervane. This Iron and steel whale and powerboat folk-art weather vane is signed "VermontWitch © 1989". It has an adjustable roof mount and is in excellent condition. I assume it is missing the W-E indicator or maybe in never had one? It stands approx 50" tall with the ornament being 31" long and the N --> at 28 3/4" long.
